Master Graduation Project

In the world of architecture, renovation is often seen as a balancing act between past and present, preservation and innovation. Every renovation project begins with a fundamental question: How can an existing structure be adapted to meet new needs, without erasing its unique character and history? This project, ‘The Composition of Renovation’, explores this question through the lens of an old school building that is to be transformed into a vibrant new space for education and the arts—a school and theater hybrid. this booklet provides a framework for understanding and undertaking renovation as a form of architectural guidance.
